Auto Club– Lyons Township H.S.
The Constitution
Article I - Our Purpose:
To promote knowledge of the automotive/fabrication industry by providing the opportunity for the exchange of ideas and experience through discussion, study, and hands on work, and to help members improve their professional performance through educational programming.
Article II – Membership:
Membership shall be open to all interested students free of charge. Members will fill out an application form and return within 48 hrs. Form must then be approved by Instructor. Students will also pass a 60 question safety test before entering the lab.
Article III - Rules Of Order:
- All members are obligated to help maintain the club facility as all maintenance and clean-up must be performed by the members on a daily basis
- There is no French (cursing) of any sort at any time
- Physical/verbal violence will result in immediate termination from the club
- Respect others as well as anything in the shop
-work hard, play hard!
-Don’t come in to just lollygag, you should be working on something
Article IV - Financial Structure:
Funding for the club will be gained through the Lyons Township HS students via performing live vehicle repairs, fundraising and collecting donations.
Article V - Meetings:
Meetings will be held twice a week. Members ARE required to attend a minimum of once per month.
